Basically there are two complete horns, one being a straight horn and one having a F attachment. Because of the modularity and depending on your preferences, you can assemble the following combinations: (1) straight .525 with 8" (1G8) bell. The slide is light-weight brass. (2) .525 with 8" bell with Tru-bore valve/F attachment (3) .525 with 8.5" (2YM) bell, straight (4) .525 with 8.5" bell with Tru-bore/F attachment (5) .547 with 8" bell, straight (6) .547 with 8" bell, with Tru-bore/F attachment (7) .547 with 8.5" bell, straight (8) .547 with 8.5" with Tru-bore/F attachment There are also 2 tuning crooks, one yellow and one gold brass (giving you another 8 options in addition to those above). There is an open gooseneck and one counterweight. I have three leadpipes including a nickel silver small shank and a .525 large shank. A Shires straight horn goes for $3100 and a horn equipped with a Tru-bore is $4400 on the Hornguys website. The horns come with a Protec case for the Tru-bore horn and an old, but quite serviceable Yahama case for the straight horn. I am selling both for $5750.00 (USD). Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Both horns are in excellent shape. I am not interested in parting out the horns but will consider selling the .525 as a straight horn for $2500 and the .547 with the valve for $3500. I might consider trades (a Williams or a King 30's Silvertone 2B would catch my eye) plus cash. Looking for the perfect gift?
