The next day, I will be floating around the music school either visiting, teaching some private lessons and/or clinic-ing...hopefully also listening to some of the great student groups and players out there!! For more information... http://www.music.indiana.edu/apps/prelude/new/index.php?date=2005-3 -22&view=list&win=month It's looking like a pretty busy couple of days, but it would be great to get to say hi to some Trombone list/Hoosiers out there!! Best wishes, Alex Iles From: Adrian Drover Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2005 10:28:40 -0000 To: Subject: [Trombone-l] New Orleans If anyone can guide me, I would like to know what hotels will be most convenient for the 2005 tromfest campus and French Quarter. I'm planning to be there from 5/27 to 5/29. Also, do I need ITA membership for entry or will my BTS membership suffice. A. The official festival hotel ( listed here: http://www.trombonefestival.net/itf2005/housing/ ) is about equidistant from each, is a pretty nice hotel, and the negotiated rate for the conference is pretty good. Most of the other hotels are downtown, and pretty convienient to the Quarter, but less so to the ITF campus.
