Re: LA Trombone Day (ALEX ILES) From: Gary Sloane Date: Thu, 17 Mar 2005 17:13:40 -0800 (PST) To: Subject: [Trombone-l] spoof alert I've been notified that somebody using the email account listed below has been contacting people who have bid on items I recently sold on eBay, claiming to offer them second chance opportunities. If anybody contacts you claiming to be me -- Wow, you could write a lot of punch lines to that one! -- call to make sure it *is* me. Similarly, if anybody approaches you about second chance offers, be careful: there are apprently lots of scam artists out there. If in doubt, don't send any money! Here's the account name that was used: "Marcela Coverca" PS: Of course, I've notified all the appropriate authorities. April 13-July 8), who would then take an audition. The next season would start up in August. You would get paid weekly about 1800-2200 pesos a week as a sub (usually, it's 2200 pesos- it's based on services, with a provision of 1200 pesos a week if trombones are not needed). Upon winning the job, you would get a salary of about 96144-100015 pesos monthly after tax, I believe, once you sign the contract. This is low in dollars, but living expenses are also low- if anyone's interested, I can send out a living expense breakdown. Two weeks or so in a hotel and a two week per diem are also covered when you first come down. Please feel free to email me with questions at the following address: bassbonelady@hotmail.com. I will be checking this more frequently than the address this was sent on during our 3-week holiday.
