Re: Wisdom teeth (Jeff Albert) From: Dan Walker Date: Sat, 19 Feb 2005 13:52:43 -0500 To: List Trombone Subject: [Trombone-l] Missing part Does anyone have the trombone quartet arrangement of the Adagio from Saint-Saens' Symphony No.3 by Ken Murley? I've lost the bass trombone part and would dearly love to replace it, if anybody was willing to part with a copy. Thanks Dan Walker From: Tom Izzo Date: Sat, 19 Feb 2005 15:53:58 -0800 (PST) To: Dan Walker , List Trombone Subject: Re: [Trombone-l] Missing part Dan, Since this is a relatively new arrangement, & NOT out of print, you should contact the publisher (Ensemble, I believe), contact through Hickeys Music (Chuck is here on the List), & order another Bass Trombone part. Any copying by one of us, is a violation of copyright. Tom --- Dan Walker wrote: > Does anyone have the trombone quartet arrangement of > the Adagio from > Saint-Saens' Symphony No.3 by Ken Murley? Where I am looking for a replacement for a part that I originally paid for, would that be a violation? I believe you are allowed to photocopy for archival purposes, and its only a little stretch to be making a backup after the part is lost... ???? My greatest fear is that I will suffer some nerve damage that may affect my playing. Is there anyone out there in brass land that has any experience with this? Thanks. It wasn't my choice of timing, but it had to be done. I didn't have any bad experience. A few days off the horn completely, and within a week or so i was pretty much back to normal.
