If so, many (for me) respond drastically differently than piston instruments down low. I have heard them played very well down there, I just cannot do so myself. It may involve a lot of work to get used to. I have the same problem with may rotary F tubas. Certainly the 4-valve Euph is a King. I am talking about tubas made before 1997. Odd tho that it would break into partial sound only in the low registers. beldon wade ............................................................ : An attachment to this post has been stripped by: : : plaintext.pl : : Original idea by Phillip Porch (ppp@theporch.com) : : Written by Stephen Modena, AB4EL (shimshon@theporch.com) : : Modifications by Mearl Danner, (jmdanner@samford.edu) : : All rights reserved. : ............................................................
